Traveling to Lynchburg

The Lynchburg Regional Airport (LYH) might be the smallest airport you'll ever fly into, but we do have an airport! LYH is a 15-minute drive from downtown Lynchburg. There are few daily American Airlines flights to and from LYH to Charlotte, NC for connections elsewhere.

The Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport (CHO) has more flight and airline options than the Lynchburg airport. It is about a 1 hour and 15-minute drive from downtown Lynchburg. If flying into Charlottesville, we recommend renting a car.
Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport
The Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA) has more flight and airline options than the Lynchburg airport. Roanoke Airport is about an hour drive from downtown Lynchburg. If flying into Roanoke, we recommend renting a car.
